A master’s degree in Energy Policy Studies deals with the issues related to energy security in the context of international relations, uniquely combining social studies, economics and law, and technical sides of energy policy.

The programme will equip you with the knowledge and practical experience to be able to analyse problems and growing demands in the energy sector, combining expertise in the industry with international political, economics, and legal aspects. Early on, you will not only get familiar with concepts, terminology, and relations, but will also master soft skills such as teamwork, presentation, and communication.

Graduate profile: Set the policies that matter

Due to the ever-increasing worldwide importance of efficient energy policies, your possibilities will be nearly limitless after graduating from Energy Policy Studies. You may take part in the creation of energy and power-related legislation on a local, regional, national, or international level, such as within the scope of the EU.

Analyse and determine the best direction energy policies of foreign or homeland companies should head or pursue a career in diplomatic services. The choice is yours.

Last but not least, Masaryk University offers a plenty of doctoral programmes, allowing you to take your research and academic career further.

The programme is suitable for students from a wide variety of backgrounds including, social sciences, economics, law, and engineering.
