At the Faculty of Economics and Administration, our flexible mix of study options allows you to develop the skills to do just that. Whether you choose to focus on finance or management, our combination of compulsory and elective courses will enable you to aim higher and achieve a significant competitive advantage in the labour market.
Our Management track will give you the expertise to excel in business. You will gain in depth insight into the functioning of businesses, their organizational structures, management, and financing. In our Finance track, you will dive deeper into the intricate world of finance. You will understand the functioning of financial markets and financial institutions, discover the world of banking and insurance and acquire critical practical skills in investing and risk management.
We encourage our students to spend a semester abroad to widen their horizons. Find the best business practices abroad and get ahead of your competition. The Faculty of Economics and Administration also offers study programmes in cooperation with University of Huddersfield (UK).
Due to the focus of studied courses, the graduates have opened possibilities to realize themselves in lower and middle managerial levels of business enterprises, as well as various departments in financial institutions.
This bachelor's degree gives graduates a solid general basis in the field of business studies, which allows for further specialization either in the next (follow-up) Master's degree or in practice.
Our Bachelor's degree programmes are open to students who successfully finished secondary school education. Applicants must have a good command of the English language.
For the application process, an applicant needs to attach the following documents to the e-application: complete e-application form – online in Masaryk University Information System, personal data form, certified copy of a Secondary School-Leaving Certificate and final transcripts of records, statement of purpose, English Language Certification, essay on a chosen topic. All application materials must be in English or Czech.
